Listed below are some of the more frequent questions that we get asked. If the answer to your question is not listed, then please contact our customer services team who will be more than happy to help.

What are your Delivery Terms and Charges?
Delivery (UK)

Standard delivery is 7-10 days (within the UK). Express delivery is within 2-3 working days (within the UK) from receipt of cleared funds. There is no charge for standard delivery within the UK.

Express charges are as follows:

Standard Gift Pack: £5.00

Deluxe Gift Packs:  £12.50

Standard gift packs with standard delivery will be despatched via Royal Mail first class post. Deluxe packs and Express Delivery options will either be despatched via courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery service. In both instances a signature will be required upon receipt. Please ensure that someone will be available to sign for your package at your chosen delivery address. In the event of no-one being available to sign for your package, a card will be posted through your door advising you to contact either the Post Office or the courier company to arrange collection.

Delivery (International)

Charges for International (outside of UK) delivery are as follows:

Standard Gift Pack (Europe):  £10.00

Standard Gift Pack (Outside Europe):  £12.00

Deluxe Gift Pack (Europe):  £20.00

Deluxe Gift Pack (Outside Europe):  £25.00

Please note that we are unable to send the Framed Deluxe Pack overseas. Normal overseas delivery time is within 10-14 days within Europe and up to 21 working days for the rest of the world. We cannot guarantee exact delivery dates and are unable to offer an express delivery option for overseas despatches.

Can I order extra copies of the Certificate?
Yes, we are happy to supply duplicate certificates. We charge £5 for each additional certificate required.

What are constellations?
Every star in the sky falls into one of 88 different areas known as constellations, many of them depicting characters or creatures from Greek mythology. Other constellations depict scientific or technical instruments or exotic animals. You can choose a specific constellation for your star to appear in, or if you prefer, you can leave it to us to decide.

Will I be able to see the star that I have named?
Only a handful of stars are visible to the naked eye. You will probably need a small telescope or a pair of binoculars to be able to see your star.

Will I own the star that I have named?
No, nobody can ‘own’ a star. Naming a star is a beautiful and symbolic novelty gift idea, and no legal title is inferred or implied.

Can someone else name the same star as me?
We guarantee that each star is named only once in our register. There are other star naming companies that have their own registers and it is therefore possible that a star in our register could be referred to by another name in another company’s register.

What can I call my star?
Within reason, anything you like! It might be someone’s name, a nick-name or anything else that has meaning for you or the recipient of the gift. A few examples might be, ‘David’s Star’, ‘Forever Love’, ‘Mum & Dad’s Silver Star’ etc etc.

Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch and Solo Credit/Debit cards. You may also pay by Postal Order or Cheque.

Is it safe to order on-line?
Absolutely. Our on-line ordering system is 100% secure and uses the latest 128-bit encryption technology to safe-guard all your details.
